Order for boy

A NORTHWICH youngster has been made the subject of a four- month referral order after he admitted stealing a fire extinguisher.

The 15-year-old told magistrates at Northwich Youth Court last Wednesday that he took the extinguisher from the petrol station forecourt at Tesco, Manchester Road, on June 3.

Chris Johnson, defending, said that the boy didn't stop to think about his actions and took it after his friend told him to.

The boy was also ordered to pay £42.50 compensation as the extinguisher has never been recovered.
