Fire walk with me

THE heat is on for St Rocco's fundraisers who face the ultimate challenge this weekend.

A brave team of challengers have agreed to 'hotfoot' it to the Dog and Partridge Pub in Woolston this Saturday, September 10 to complete a mind over matter firewalk task.

They are appealing to Warrington Guardian readers to show their support and agree to sponsor them in time for the nail-biting event.

Hospice staff have even agreed to brave the hot coals themselves in a bid to encourage others to do the same.

Personal assistant to the director of the hospice, Jenny Snodgrass and Lesley Groom from St Rocco's appeals team will both be taking part.
