Gazebo 'gone'

A BACK garden turned into a crime scene, with a case of a missing gazebo.

Police carried out door-to-door inquiries after the summer house was reported missing last Sunday from the house in Patrivale Close, Paddington.

However, the incident turned out to be a false alarm when a neighbour, who had been out at the time, discovered the outdoor furniture had blown into his garden.

A neighbour who did not wish to be named said: "Yes the police came to investigate but it turned up in the house behind, a bit of a misunderstanding."

A spokesman for Warrington Police confirmed the missing gazebo had been swept away in the wind and not stolen.
