A diamond effort in health and safety

CHEMICAL company Ineos Chlor has proved it is up there with the best in the health and safety stakes.

For the fifth year running, the Runcorn-based firm has won a Diamond Safety Award from The Chemical Industries Associates.

This marks it out as one of the UK's safest manufacturing sites.

Steve Yee, business safety manager at Ineos Chlor, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be recognised so publicly for our site safety.

"Yet again our staff have demonstrated how a clear focus on safety can achieve outstanding results, earning us this well deserved place at the top of the safety league."
