It's a steel for thieves

THIEVES used a forklift truck to steal two bundles of steel at Peter Stubbs Ltd in Causeway Avenue, Latchford.

Three men broke into the engineering firm at around 11.45am on Wednesday, August 24, and used one of the firm's forklifts to transport the steel to a small pick-up truck.

After dropping one bundle off, a member of staff was alerted and they fled.

They got away with £3,000 worth of steel.

Their vehicle was described as having a yellow cab and white sides.
