Fire burst water pipe
A FLAT has been left damaged after a fire burst a water pipe and flooded the property.
An appliance from Stockton Heath was called out to a property on Ashley Close in Grappenhall, just after noon on Sunday.
Firefighters found that there had been a fire in the airing cupboard of the flat the previous evening.
The flames had burnt through the water pipes which resulted in flooding.
