100% success rate

CELEBRATORY drinks and a roaring fire welcomed anxious pupils and parents to Cransley School on Thursday for the release of the GCSE results.

But there was no need for anyone to worry as the school achieved a fantastic 100 per cent pass rate with every pupil gaining grades of C or above, while 59 per cent of all passes were A* or A grades.

Headteacher Geraldine Gaunt said: "The girls have worked particularly hard and deserve such good results."
