HARTFORD High School pupils passed the grade with success across the board in this year's GCSEs.
Every pupil entered for exams was rewarded, with 89 per cent achieving at least one C grade and 61 per cent obtaining five or more A* to C grades.
Twenty pupils were celebrating receiving at least eight A* or A passes with a select few high flyers scooping 10 A* or A grades.
They were Luke Bushnell-Wye, Sarah Gillespie, Ed Hunt, Lucy Mills, Andy Oakes, Rachel Smith, Heather Smith and Sophie Tindale.
Seven Year 11 pupils also sat AS-level science, with four claiming A grades and the rest Bs.
Headteacher Dr David Kirby said: "I am very proud of what we have achieved and the pupils must be commended for their efforts - it is also important to remember the supporting role played by their parents in their success.
"Once again these results show how much hard work has been done by pupils and staff at the school.
"The number of pupils with A* and A grades is better than ever and as usual our pupils have done well across the ability range."
