Teenager attacked for his MP3 player

A TEENAGER had his MP3 player robbed by a gang of youths in Hallwood Park, Runcorn last Monday evening.

The 18-year-old local lad was walking across wasteland behind Halton General Hospital between Earls Way and Palacefields Avenue when he was attacked by up to five thugs.

A man walking his dog saw the attack and shouted at the victim's attackers who ran off.

Anyone with information about the robbery, which happened at 6.15 on August 22, should call Det Con Neil Edgar at Runcorn CID on 01244-614 904 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555 111.
