Rape support centre opens

A NEW project, which provides free and confidential counselling and support for young people aged between 10 and 18 who have been raped or sexually assaulted, has been launched.

The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre's Warrington base is being funded by BBC Children in Need for a three-year period.

The service will also provide support to familes and friends who may also have been affected by child sexual abuse incidents.
