Another tournament win for Padgate star

TENNIS ace Michael Austin won his fourth under 16s tournament in a row in Manchester on Saturday.

The Padgate prodigy, who has won all of his 20 under 16s matches this summer, secured victory in the Northern Under 16s Tennis Tournament after defeating Warwickshire's Mark Tanner 7-6 3-6 6-3 in a thrilling final.

He reached the final of the LTA Grand Prix event after overcoming Cheadle's Mathew Buckley and Shropshire's Alan Bevan in the previous two rounds.
