Charity has a future

AN open day held at a Millington charity raised £5,000 to help its continuing success.

More than 700 people from across the north west converged on The Children's Adventure Farm Trust earlier this month for the open and family fun day.

Sponsored by The Cheshire Building Society, the event included a barbecue, bouncy castle, face painting and games and a climbing wall.

The day also gave people a chance to take a guided tour of the farm and all of its fantastic facilities.

Helen Crowther, a member of the fundraising team, said: "We want as many people as possible to know about what we do, only then can we reach the children who most need, and deserve, our help."
