Fun in the sun for the school break

YOUNGSTERS have been enjoying fun and games at events in Birchwood and Croft.

Warrington Borough Council has organised play schemes at Oakwood Neighbourhood Centre on Whitethroat Walk, Gorse Covert Primary School, on Gorse Covert Road, and Croft Youth Centre, on Smithy Lane, to help keep children amused during the holidays.

Tina Cross, from Warrington Borough Council, said: "All the kids have really enjoyed themselves.

"To mark the end of the Oakwood scheme, the children enjoyed a sports mobile and in Gorse Covert they had a party."

Play schemes in Mee Brow Community Centre, on Churchill Avenue, Croft, and Foxwood Special School, Birchwood, run until tomorrow, Friday.
