Burglars target elderly person's home

AN ELDERLY person's home in Lockgate West, Windmill Hill, Runcorn, has also been targeted by distraction burglars posing as water board officials.

One man, described as 'well spoken' got the 87-year-old woman to show him her bathroom taps upstairs while another, who she did not see, rummaged through her kitchen.

The incident took place on the morning of Saturday, August 20. Nothing was taken.
