Fantastic food is a tasty treat for the north west

A CELEBRATION of some of the best local and north west food took place in Warrington last week.

The Merseyside Food Network, a not-for-profit organisation run to promote the region's producers, teamed up with Asda's Warrington stores for the week's promotion.

Harry Cowling, of Merseyside Food Network, said: "Most people don't realise just how much fantastic food comes from the north west and we want to highlight it."
