A SCHOOLBOY from Warrington got the chance to speak to his favourite big brother contestant with a little help from Wire FM.
Risley youngster, Alex Joynes, aged 14, was flabbergasted when Big Brother contestant Derek Laurd requested that they appear together on a Wire FM interview with breakfast show presenters Dominic and Lou.
The teenager had written a letter to Derek which he received on his return home to London following his eviction.
Derek said on Wire FM that he was 'touched'.
Alex aspires to be a writer and asked Derek on Wire FM for advice on how to achieve this goal.
Derek ruled out running for Parliament but said he would have a glass of champagne with Science.
