Duel in the crown

GLADIATOR Duel has made his TV debut!

He's the biggest themed bouncy castle owned by Runcorn family business PartyTime Leisure, and was invited to appear on ITV's This Morning.

"We were thrilled to be asked," said Kate Field, who runs the company with her partner Ste Cross.

They met Alison Hammond of Big Brother at Whitley Court in Worcestershire where TV crews filmed schoolchildren roadtesting bouncy castles.

"We can't believe how well it's going for us at the moment," said Kate. "We're getting a lot of recommendations by businesses that have already used us so our reputation is obviously spreading."

Kate and Ste have a range of themed castles and hope to introduce a Dinosaur, activity Galleon, and one themed around The Muppets.

However, their proudest 'new edition' is their nine-month-old son Zakk, born six weeks early.

They have chosen to 'adopt' the special care baby unit at Warrington Hospital, where Zakk spent his first few days, and Halton Haven Hospice as their special charities.

"This means we supply our items free of charge for them," said Kate.
