Chance for a spring clean

ARENA Housing and Great Sankey Parish Council are holding a 'skip day' in Old Hall on Wednesday, August 17.

Four skips will be provided by Warrington Borough Council's Street Scene team to give the residents of Cavendish, Gregory, Ross and Lander Closes the opportunity to get rid of large items of rubbish, free of charge.

Whittle Hall councillors, Keith Gleave and Judith Wheeler, said: "The skip day idea has worked well in other areas of Warrington and thanks to the funding from Arena and Great Sankey Parish Council, we are now able to offer this in Old Hall."
