Life's a beach in Nantwich

LANDLOCKED Nantwich was transformed into a traditional British seaside resort, for one day only last

weekend.

The brainchild of the borough council's town centres team, the event, featuring a reallife sandy cove, Punch and Judy show and balloon-sculpting, proved to be a real hit with youngsters.

Pictured right are Rebecca and Rhys Bratherton, aged nine and seven, who had a whale of a time in the sandpit.
