Claire cheers family over finishing line

PROUD mum Claire Skinner cheered her sons and husband over the finishing line in a charity walk.

Claire, aged 29, comes from Elm Grove, Alsager, and organised a one-mile sponsored walk at Brereton Heath Country Park.

The event attracted 18 walkers, and raised more than £300 for the National Autistic Society.

The walkers included Claire's husband Andrew and sons David, aged five, and Marcus, aged three.

David is a pupil at Highfields Primary School in Alsager, and has autistic tendencies.

Claire organised the event to raise money for the society and awareness of autism, its symptoms and the stresses it can place on those with the condition and their families.
