Less violence for Biddulph folk?

VIOLENT crime fell in Staffordshire by two per cent in the three months to June.

House burglaries were down by eight per cent, and robberies dropped by 10 per cent.

Some 41 dealers in "hard" drugs were arrested in the county over the period.

Of these 15 were arrested for cocaine offences, and 18 in connection with heroin.

Staffordshire Police presented £30,000 to Partners Assuring A Safer Staffordshire and £12,000 to charities supporting rape victims from the sale of seized goods.
