Police quizzed on yob culture

CONSERVATIVE group leader Cllr Brian Silvester and county councillor Margaret Simon have discussed the future of policing in the borough with Cheshire's chief constable Peter Fahy and area commissioner Phil Thompson.

They raised a number of issues put forward to them by local residents.

Cllr Silvester said: "Many residents are concerned about the rise in anti-social behaviour and the difficulties they sometimes face in getting police to respond."
