A THIEF has appeared in court after being found hiding by a police dog.
Terrence Kerwin, appeared at Warrington Magistrates court on Monday via a live video link.
He admitted stealing a 22-inch television worth £2,500 from a house on Hilltop Road in Lymm.
The court was told that the owner of the property found footprints on his kitchen floor before discovering his television had been stolen.
But police had already captured the 18-year-old after a police chase on a Widnes road.
A police search dog found Kerwin hiding and he was arrested. The stolen television was later found in the car.
He will be sentenced at Warrington Crown Court on Friday, August 19.
