Man arrested following death crash

A MAN arrested in connection with a fatal road collision in Crewe has been released on police bail.

The 37-year-old from Middlewich was arrested following an accident that occurred on the A530 Middlewich Road shortly before 7.30pm yesterday, Wednesday.

The Middlewich resident was driving a silver Nissan Primera along Middlewich Road, Crewe, when his car was in collision with a black Honda motorcycle, driven by a Crewe man, around 750 metres from its junction with Pimms Lane traffic lights.

The 34-year-old motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.
