Music bar offers Las Vegas prize

DEBEES Music Bar in Winsford is running a charity poker competition with a first prize of an all expenses paid trip for two to the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas.

The six week competition will begin on September 5 and all proceeds will go towards a new hydrotherapy pool at Hebden Green Community School.

The winner will be treated to a holiday to Las Vegas including flights, connections and accommodation.

Debees owner Damon Horrill said: "The event is designed to be a very glamorous affair and will resemble a typical casino event in Vegas with croupiers hired for each and every match.

"Hebden Green plays a big part in the community of Winsford and I'm thrilled that I am in a position to help raise vital funds."

Toni Findley, assistant headteacher at Hebden Green, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for Hebden Green to work with Damon and we are very grateful for all the help he is giving the school."

Entry to the competition is £15. To take part, pick up a form from Debees.
