Boy has jaw broken

THE jaw of a teenage boy was broken when hooded thugs attacked him in Woolston.

The 16-year-old victim was walking home through Woolston Park, off Hillock Lane, at 11pm when he was set upon by three men wearing hooded jumpers.

The boy was hit twice across the head and taken to Fazakerly Hospital for treatment for a fractured jaw.

The gang who struck on July 8 are believed to be 18 years old.
