Man puts brick through girlfriend's window

A MAN put a brick through the window of his girlfriend's council house after an argument, magistrates heard last week.

Brendon Boughey, 24, of Thirlmere Way, Widnes pleaded guilty to destroying or damaging property in the early hours of June 5 this year.

His defence solicitor Keith Porter said Boughey had since made up with girlfriend and that his client had no previous convictions.

The probation service told magistrates Boughey had in fact received a community punishment order for disqualified driving, who gave him a conditional discharge, a £50 fine and ordered him to pay £120 prosecution costs and £64 compensation to the council.
