Community garden ready to open

A GARDEN party is being held for young families in West Bank.

They are invited to the grand opening of a children's community garden at 11am on Sunday, August 7.

A fancy hat competition, games and activities, promise to make it a fun filled day.

Sure Start New Steps, North Cheshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Halton's Healthy Living Project have teamed up to work on the project.

Halton's Mayor and Mayoress, Cllr Peter Lloyd Jones and his wife, Martha will be attending.
