Be a part of our history

THE KNUTSFORD Guardian wants to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War - but we need your help.

We are appealing to readers to contribute to our special supplement and ensure that memories of that incredible part of our history do not die.

Your stories and photographs will help to paint a picture of what life was like as Britain fought - often alone - against Nazi Germany.

Tribute

"We want to make sure that Knutsford pays its own special tribute to those who either fought, died or survived the conflict," said editor Sue Briggs.

What were you doing also when you heard the war was over?

Your thoughts can be written and sent to the Knutsford Guardian, The Council Offices, Toft Road, Knutsford, WA16 6TA or emailed to knutsford@guardiangrp.co.uk

Alternatively please call the newsdesk on 01565 751114 and ask to speak to a reporter.
