Tough tests for Vics

BIDDULPH Vics face two tough matches in the next four days following one of their worst displays this season.

They went down 2-0 at home to eighth-placed Westfields on Saturday, creating just one chance in the entire match.

The defeat leaves the Vics fifth from bottom of the league, having lost five out of their last six home games.

Their single chance fell to James Marrow in the opening few minutes, but he shot over.

Westfields took the lead on 23 minutes through Craddock, who fired in a shot from the right.

The visitors scored their second goal with seven minutes left, Aubrey the scorer.

The Vics are on their travels tomorrow to second-placed Chasetown, and are away again next Tuesday, to sixth-placed Coalville Town.

Chasetown and Coalville boast two of the league's top marksmen.
