Calling all candidates

A SPECIAL briefing session has been arranged for prospective candidates for the forthcoming county council elections.

The event is to be held at Woodford Lodge, Winsford, on Thursday, March 3, from 6pm to 7.45pm. Refreshments are available from 5.30pm.

Subjects include general information about Cheshire, the responsibilities of the county council, the election process and the role of a county councillor.

Prospective candidates interested in attending should ring Joanne Buckley on 012454 602204 or email joanne.buckley@cheshire.gov.uk by February 28.
