Memorial site is not ideal

I, TOO, hate injustice (see Guardian Thursday, Feb 3) which is why I want to know when my great uncle, who died in the First World War, can have a memorial that is not (a) upside down (as all the names are) (b) frequently flooded (c) sometimes covered by burger wrappers and (d) occasionally surrounded by a bouncy castle, car park and a radio show?

Certainly the council's proposal is not the only thing that could be done, but where are the alternatives that remove all those things?
