Charity night in memory of friend

A GALA night is taking place on Friday, March 4 to raise money to help a charity that works to save lives.

Paul and Wendy Cain have organised the fifth annual fundraiser, which takes place at the Meadowbank Social Club in Winsford.

The event aims to raise money for The Anthony Nolan Trust.

The trust adds potential bone marrow donors to its list, which matches healthy people with leukaemia sufferers.

Topping the bill at the gala is comedian Marty Sotne and there will be a late disco, late bar and buffet.

The host is Paul Cain and the evening is in memory of Andrew Taylor, a friend of the couple who died from leukaemia.

Tickets priced £2.50 are available by ringing Wendy on 01606 558288.
