Learning centre opens for business

THE Vic Family Learning Place will open its doors for the first time today, Wednesday, to offer a range of courses and qualifications.

The centre, based at Victoria Road School on Neumann Street, Northwich, will provide free courses in ICT, art and craft, parenting and financial literacy.

Sue Harrop, centre manager, said: "Everyone is welcome to pop in to find out about the exciting range of activities available at the centre and how they can begin to make it their own."

Mayor of Vale Royal Anne Hooker will officially open the centre, which is supported by Vale Royal Borough Council, Learning and Skills Council and the European Social Fund.
