Care boss takes a new role

RESIDENTS at a Northwich care home saw their manager in a different leading role when pantomime season took over.

Sue Clacy, manager of Daneside Court, became the Empress in Aladdin for a day to give the residents a special treat.

Eileen Gallimore, a resident at Daneside, said: "I enjoyed seeing Sue on stage dressed up as an empress, she looked stunning.

"The panto made us all laugh out loud - it was a really great day out."

Sue said: "I was delighted by our residents' reaction to the pantomime.

"I'd spent a long time rehearsing for it and I wanted to share the enjoyment I had performing it with everyone at Daneside.

"I think it's important for everyone to get out once in a while and have a laugh, especially our residents - they deserve it."
