RECORD CROWD

THE NORTHERN RAIL CUP had a competition record crowd for the second successive week with 6,353 attending the Featherstone Rovers v Castleford Tigers match.

It beat the previous best for a National League Cup match outside the final of 5,768 at the Castleford v York City Knights game a week earlier.
