A TEENAGER was robbed of his mobile phone in Royal Avenue last Wednesday night.
The 19-year-old was on his way home and was about to turn on to Liverpool Road when three other youths came round the corner from Liverpool Road.
One produced a six-inch kitchen knife and threatened to stab the teenager.
He handed over his silver Phillips 355 phone, worth £150, but was not injured.
The three robbers were described as aged 16 to 19, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and with short dark hair.
One had a grey hooded top and dark bottoms, another had a red top, and another had a dark top and bottoms. At least one had a Liverpool accent.
