POINT SCORING SEQUENCE

BARRY EATON of Batley Bulldogs has continued his unbroken run of scoring in every match for the club since joining them from Widnes Vikings for the start of the 2003 season.

The scrum half's six goals in the 28-22 Northern Rail League Cup home defeat of Doncaster Dragons stretched the sequence to 66 matches and gave him a total of 615 points from nine tries and 291 goals, including three drop goals.

Eaton is the only player to three times go through a season scoring in every one of his club's matches. He scored in every match for Dewsbury Rams in 1999-00 and repeated the feat with Batley in the last two seasons.

The only other player to achieve the feat in successive seasons was David Watkins for Salford in 1972-73 and 1973-74 when he set the record of scoring in 92 successive club matches.
