KOHE-LOVE NEAR TRY CENTURY

TOA KOHE-LOVE, back at Warrington Wolves, needs four tries for a career century of touchdowns in British club rugby league.

The New Zealander centre has scored 75 tries for Warrington and 21 for Hull.

He also had an injury-hit spell at Bradford Bulls without scoring. His total of 96 tries includes five hat-tricks - four for Warrington and one for Hull. He has made 180 appearances.

In 1999 he was the joint-top scorer of Super League tries with Matt Daylight of Gateshead Thunder, both scoring 25.

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Kohe-Love was attached to Auckland Warriors on a scholarship scheme but did not play first grade rugby for them. At 19, he joined Warrington and made his English debut as a substitute in a 22-18 win at Leeds in the first ever round of Super League on 31 March 1996. Kohe-Love made his first start for Warrington in their next match five days later when he scored two tries in a 45-10 home League defeat of Workington Town.

After six seasons he moved to Hull and made his debut in a 34-10 RL Challenge Cup fourth round defeat at Wigan Warriors on 9 February 2002. He transferred to Bradford for the 2004 season when injury restricted him to only three appearances and he returned to Warrington for the start of this season.
