Fears grow for missing Elayne

THERE is growing concern for the welfare of a Warrington woman who has not been seen since Friday.

Police want to speak to anyone who may have come into contact with Elayne McWhirter after 11.30pm.

A police spokesman said: "She is vulnerable and we are anxious to speak to anyone who may have seen or had contact with Elayne since this time.

"It may be that she doesn't wish to return home immediately, but we would ask that she makes contact with police, family or friends to provide everyone with reassurance that she is safe and well."

Elayne, aged 31, is white, 5ft 4ins tall and of slight build.

She has blue eyes and dark brown hair with a fringe in a bob style, and looks younger than her age.

She may have been wearing a black t-shirt and black tracksuit bottoms.

You can contact Warrington police on 652222 with any information.
