Debt-ridden director agrees not to run more businesses

A DIRECTOR whose business failed with estimated business debts of £206,000 has pledged not to manage any more companies for four years.

Gerald Fallon, 56, ran Aquatec Mechanical Services at 117 Lowerhouse Lane in Widnes.

His welding, pluming and engineering firm was wound up on April 4 last year.

By this time his firm, owed the inland revenue £72,088 and had outstanding liabilities to them £88,787.

An Insolvency Service spokesperson said: "He failed to ensure that Aquatec complied with its statutory obligations to submit returns, and thereafter pay amounts due to HM Customs and Excise."

Mr Fallon, of Lowerhouse Lane, has agreed to not be company director and not to take part in any company management for four years.
