Andrew snaps up award

A TALENTED photographer is celebrating after winning a prestigious national award.

Andrew Williams, 57, of Fieldway, Weaverham had to lie upside down on the side of a Widnes canal to take his award-winning photograph of a dandelion.

He won the Nature and Environment Photographer of the Year and also took the £1,000 third prize in the overall Photographer of the Year.
