It's Panto Time Again

SHAVINGTON Festival Committee is in the final throes of rehearsals for the annual pantomime.

Cinderella is the group's 27th consecutive panto and involves a real community effort featuring some 140 people on and off stage.

The show takes to the stage at Shavington Leisure Centre during half term from February 15 to 19.

A spokesman said: "This year there are over 30 children in the chorus with teenagers taking some of the lead roles, as well as lots more working behind the scenes."

The production is a traditional family affair packed with heroes, villains, singing, dancing comedy.
