Happy and Healthy

IT'S thumbs up from children at a Biddulph school after they received an award to mark their successful healthy living campaign.

The youngsters are pupils at Squirrel Hayes First School, which received a plaque from North Staffordshire and Stoke Health Promotion.

The body is part of Staffordshire Health Authority, and the award recognises initiatives put in place at the school to encourage pupils to lead healthy lives.

The plaque is pictured being presented by Biddulph Town Mayor Madelaine Lovatt.
