Don't forget to check you're on the electoral register

STAFF at Warrington Town Hall are busily updating a very important list, and if your name is not on it, you cannot have your say on how the town is run.

Warrington's 84,500 households will all receive a letter in the next few weeks so that everyone eligible can register to vote.

All you have to do is fill in the form and return it, freepost, as soon as possible to the borough council's registration team.

If there have been any changes to your details since the register was compiled in September last year, you can make them on the form, but if nothing has changed, you don't need to return the form.

There is also an application form if you want to vote by post at future elections.

For more copies of the form, call the elections office 442184.
