WARRINGTON Wolves kick-start their Super League X campaign on Sunday.

Paul Cullen's men face London Broncos at Griffin Park, Brentford, kick-off 3pm, as they start their bid to improve on last season's eighth-placed finish.

The match will mark the full senior debuts in primrose and blue colours of internationals Martin Gleeson and Logan Swann.

Although both clubs have played in pre-season friendlies, Sunday's game will be the first competitive clash for either side since September, 2004.

A full preview to the game and the season as a whole appear in Thursday's Warrington Guardian.

Brent Grose's new monthly column is launched in Thursday's paper and also featured are interviews with new boys Gleeson and Swann plus Paul Noone, Paul Wood and head coach Paul Cullen. Wolfie's column is in there too and there are also poster pages of the Wolves' 2005 squad and skipper Lee Briers.

Any Rugby League fans who can not make the trip down to the capital on Sunday may be interested to learn that the town's newest side, Warrington Wizards, play at Wilderspool Stadium on Saturday.

The Wizards entertain fellow National League Three team Bradford Dudley Hill in the opening round of the Northern Rail Cup competition, kick-off 2.30pm. A preview to this game also appears in Thursday's Warrington Guardian.
