Fun for parents

WINSFORD Lone Parent Action Group is holding a fun day on Wednesday next week with a range of activities for adults and children.

The event will take place at the Winsford Centre, on Cheviot Square, with music and games on offer.

Group chairman Rachel Poole said: "It should be a fantastic day and everyone is really looking forward to it.

"It will mark our official relaunch so it is a great occasion for our group and we would like as much support as possible."

Unfortunately the group has had to cancel its disco on Saturday due to a lack of funds but Rachel hopes it will take place at a future date.

The group holds regular meetings every Friday at the Winsford Centre between 1pm and 3pm and any single parent is welcome to attend.
