Missing man

HELICOPTERS and police have been searching Hough Green for a man with one leg who has gone missing.

The 55-year-old, who has not been named, is described by police as extremely vulnerable - he is unable to speak and needs regular medication.

He has not been seen since midday on Monday and the police and his family are 'extremely' concerned about his well-being.

It is thought he may not have gone far because he can't get around well and the police want people to check their sheds and outhouses in case he has taken shelter there.

He is 5ft 5ins tall and was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, jeans, a flat hat and gloves.

Anyone with information should call Cheshire police on 01244-350 000.
