Burglars hit as residents sat in lounge

BURGLARS sneaked into a house and stole cash while the residents were in the living room.

The incident happened on Wednesday, January 26, at around 11.40pm on Barrow Hall Lane, Great Sankey.

The offenders got in to the house through the back door and crept upstairs to a bedroom, where they stole cash and escaped through a window.
