Gang prepare for town show

ONE of Knutsford's oldest traditions returns this year.

The Knutsford Gang Show opens on Monday February 14 for a six night run.

Organisers of the annual event decided to take a break last year because staff needed a rest.

But more than 50 youngsters - and their leaders - are now preparing to return to the civic centre with a bang.

The dedicated team of Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Guides will entertain audiences with song, dance and plenty of classic comedy sketches.

A special guest will also appear on stage this year but organisers have refused to reveal the identity of the mystery person.

Party

People from across the North West book tickets to see Knutsford's Gang Show and the Cheshire Building Society is this year's main sponsor.

The show has been running for almost 20 years and each run ends with a traditional party on the Saturday night for everyone involved.

Tickets cost £4 for the shows on Monday and Tuesday, £5 for the shows on Wednesday and Thursday and £6 for the shows on Friday and Saturday.

Thursday's performance will be signed for the deaf and hard of hearing.

To reserve your ticket call 01565 652491 or visit Knutsford Tourist Information Centre in Toft Road.
